At Traditions Dental, we prefer SureSmile® Clear Aligners. We have found that SureSmile aligners can straighten your teeth quicker than Invisalign, while being more comfortable and less painful because they require fewer adjustments. SureSmile uses advanced technology and proven materials to provide a customized fit from the first aligner to the last, promoting better oral hygiene and a beautiful smile.

Why Straighten Your Teeth?

Misaligned teeth and improper bites can lead to tooth damage, loss, or difficulty speaking. Benefits of straightening your teeth with SureSmile include:

How Does SureSmile Work?

We create a computer model of your bite using advanced imaging like the OraScanner® or CBCT.

our aligners are plastic replicas of your teeth, created using these digital scans.

You wear each set of aligners for one to two weeks. They put gentle pressure on the teeth, ever-so-slightly repositioning them over time.

Over time, your teeth reach their ideal clinical alignment and a perfectly straight smile.

The Medical Benefits of Clear Aligners

The misalignment of teeth can create problems that are not only cosmetic but medical as well. By using Clear Aligners to straighten your teeth, you can achieve significant health advantages:

Teeth that are crowded or crooked are more difficult to keep clean. Unlike traditional metal braces, which can increase food trapping and plaque accumulation, Clear Aligners are easily removed to facilitate routine brushing and flossing, decreasing the risk of cavities and gum disease.

With metal braces, certain healthy foods like raw vegetables are often prohibited to avoid breaking brackets. Because Clear Aligners are removable, patients are less restricted and able to eat more of the foods they love, avoiding negative impacts on their overall health.

When teeth are properly aligned, you can bite and chew food comfortably and efficiently. Straightened teeth allow you to eat a variety of foods and chew them fully for improved digestion.

Spacing and crowding can cause difficulty pronouncing certain sounds or lead to speech problems like lisps. By correcting your alignment, you will be able to speak clearly and boost your confidence.

Misaligned teeth can put increased stress on the temporomandibular joints (TMJ) and chewing muscles, leading to TMJ pain, neck pain, earaches, and shoulder pain. Aligners balance your bite and reduce stress on the surrounding muscles to prevent discomfort.

Teeth that stick out, especially in the upper arch, have an increased risk of trauma. Correcting the alignment makes these teeth less likely to be chipped, fractured, or knocked out.

Feeling self-conscious can rob you of opportunities in your career and relationships. Clear Aligners provide a confidence boost during and after the process without the aesthetic concerns of metal braces.
